Setup

Everything you need to get going. Log in to see your progress.

For everyone

  1. Log in

    To do
Use Twitch or Discord. This also creates your account. Logging in with Twitch connects your channel too.
  2. Link your Twitch account

    To do
Points come from what you do on Twitch, so we need to know your Twitch name. Logging in with Twitch does this automatically.
  3. Link Kick

    Optional
Watch or stream on Kick too? Link it to earn points for chatting, subs and Kicks in Rogue Rally channels on Kick.
  4. Check your profile and privacy

    Optional
Choose your display name, and whether you show on the leaderboard.
  5. Pick your notifications and colours

    Optional
Choose which alerts you get (rank changes, raids, events…) and a colour theme for the site.
  6. Join the Raid Team

    Optional
Raid together with the community and earn raid tokens.
  7. Start supporting

    To do
Open Live now, pick a stream and say hi. Your points and rank show on your Dashboard.

For streamers

  1. Connect your channel

    To do
Twitch asks you to allow Rogue Rally to:
    • read chat in your channel through the Rogue Rally bot, so members earn chat points (you don't need to make the bot a mod);
    • see subs and gifted subs;
    • see Bits cheers.
Rogue Rally only reads these events: it doesn't post in your chat, ban anyone or change your channel. Logging in with Twitch does this step automatically.
    Connect your channel
  2. Get approved

    To do
Approved automatically once you're Silver or higher (an admin can approve earlier). You'll see the status on My channel.
  3. Stream on Kick? Connect that channel too

    Optional
Your Kick channel gets its own spot on Live now (Kick tab) and members earn points there, approved the same way. Kick doesn't report raids, so Kick raids don't earn points.
  4. Keep the connection working

    To do
If you remove Rogue Rally's access on Twitch, rewards in your channel stop. My channel shows a warning and a Reconnect button if that happens.
  5. Reach Silver to appear on Live now

    To do
Streamers show on Live now from Silver rank. Your rank comes from the points you earn by supporting others, and a higher rank also means chatters earn more in your channel.
    How ranks work
  6. Track your path to Affiliate or Partner

    Optional
Your Dashboard's Growth tab shows how close you are to Twitch Affiliate, or to Partner if you're already Affiliate. Share it on Live now so the community can help you get there.
  7. Read your weekly report

    Optional
Every Monday your Dashboard shows last week: supporters, new faces, chats, raids and tips.
  8. Add your events

    Optional
Special streams, marathons or game nights. The team checks them, then they show for everyone.
